Underwood Ammunition 45 Colt (Long Colt) 250 Grain Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator Lead-Free Box of 20

The Underwood Ammunition 45 Colt (Long Colt) 250 Grain Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator Lead-Free Box of 20 uses a solid copper fluted bullet engineered to cut rather than expand, loaded at standard pressure for revolvers that are not rated for +P. Underwood builds this loading for shooters who want the Xtreme Penetrator’s performance without the extra pressure. As a result, shooters get consistent, wide wound channels through fluid mechanics. This loading suits personal defense and general-purpose 45 Colt carry.

About This Underwood Xtreme Penetrator 45 Colt Long Colt Load

Underwood loads this cartridge with the Lehigh Defense Xtreme Penetrator, a solid copper bullet machined with fluted cutting edges. Those flutes create hydraulic pressure waves as the bullet drives through tissue, producing a wide wound channel without relying on expansion. Because the bullet is solid copper, it does not fragment or lose weight. This standard-pressure version suits revolvers not rated for +P ammunition. Liberty Anno Supply stocks this loading in 20-round boxes for defensive use. Shooters can count on consistent quality from batch to batch.

Why Shooters Choose Underwood Xtreme Penetrator 45 Colt Long Colt

Some defensive shooters want the Lehigh Xtreme Penetrator’s fluid-cutting performance but carry a revolver not rated for +P pressures. This standard-pressure loading gives them that option. The solid copper construction still delivers reliable, wide wound channels at standard velocities. Every round meets SAAMI pressure and dimensional specifications for safe, reliable function.
