Underwood Ammunition 45 Colt (Long Colt) 225 Grain Soft Cast Lead Hollow Point Box of 20

The Underwood Ammunition 45 Colt (Long Colt) 225 Grain Soft Cast Lead Hollow Point Box of 20 pairs a soft lead alloy with a hollow point cavity for rapid expansion at standard revolver pressures. Underwood casts this bullet from a softer alloy than its hard cast hunting loads. As a result, shooters get dramatic expansion for personal defense applications. This loading suits home defense, personal protection, and general-purpose 45 Colt carry.

About This Underwood Soft Cast 45 Colt Long Colt Load

Underwood casts this 225 grain bullet from a softer lead alloy than its dedicated hunting loads use. That softer alloy expands more readily on impact with soft tissue. The wide hollow point cavity is sized to open reliably even at standard, non-magnum revolver velocities. Underwood hand-inspects its loaded ammunition before it ships. Liberty Anno Supply stocks this loading in 20-round boxes for shooters who carry a 45 Colt revolver for defense. That attention to detail matters when choosing ammunition for a hunt or for carry.
