Remington Performance WheelGun Ammunition 44 Special 246 Grain Lead Round Nose

The Remington Performance WheelGun 44 Special 246gr Lead Round Nose is a classic revolver round. Specifically, Remington built this line to honor traditional revolver cartridge specifications. This load uses a plain lead round nose bullet in the original spirit of the 44 Special.

Why Choose a Traditional Round Nose Load

A round nose lead bullet feeds smoothly through double-action and single-action revolvers without sharp edges to snag. Remington keeps this load close to the original low-pressure 44 Special specification for mild, pleasant recoil. For reference, every round meets SAAMI-checked pressure standards, referenced at saami.org. In turn, this makes it a smooth-shooting option for new revolver owners.
