Underwood Ammunition 454 Casull 325 Grain Lead Long Flat Nose Gas Check Box of 20

The Underwood 454 Casull 325gr Lead Long Flat Nose is a heavy cast-lead load built for deep penetration. Similarly to Underwood’s other Casull offerings, it runs hot for maximum performance. This bullet’s extended flat nose profile is designed to drive straight through muscle and bone.

Why Choose a Long Flat Nose Gas Check Bullet

The elongated flat nose shape punches a wide, straight wound channel rather than deflecting off bone. A gas check on the base protects the soft lead alloy from the heat of firing at high velocity. For reference, every round is loaded to SAAMI-checked pressure limits, referenced at saami.org. It also performs well against the largest and toughest game animals. Clearly, this makes it a strong choice for hunters who value penetration above all.
