A Long-Range Copper Bullet Built for Extended Shots

Meanwhile, the all-copper shank still expands reliably even at reduced long-range velocities. This combination gives hunters flatter trajectories and dependable expansion at extended distances. As a result, hunters taking shots well past 300 yards often trust this loading.

About This Barnes VOR-TX Long Range Ammunition 7mm Remington Magnum 139 Grain LRX Polymer Tipped Boat Tail Lead-Free Box of 20 Load

Barnes built the LRX line specifically for hunters who regularly shoot at long range. For reference, this loading suits deer and elk-sized game at both moderate and extended range. Therefore, western hunters covering open terrain often choose this loading for its reach.

Barnes manufactures this bullet from a single copper alloy for consistent long-range expansion. This particular loading remains popular among hunters who take shots across open canyons. Hunters who value both reach and weight retention often keep this loading on hand.
