Underwood Xtreme Defender Ammunition 357 Sig 90 Grain Lehigh Xtreme Defense Lead-Free Box of 20

Underwood Xtreme Defender Ammunition 357 Sig 90 Grain Lehigh Xtreme Defense Lead-Free Box of 20 loads the sharp-petaled Lehigh Xtreme Defense bullet, a lead-free design that cuts rather than expands. Because the bullet’s geometry does the work mechanically, terminal performance stays consistent even through clothing barriers. Underwood pushes this 90 grain bullet to a brisk velocity, giving it a flat trajectory and the sharp report typical of the Xtreme Defender line.

Mechanically-Driven Wound Channel

As a result, this loading appeals to shooters who want maximum, repeatable terminal effect without worrying about bullet plugging. The lead-free core also means no exposed lead, and many indoor ranges now require that for member use. In addition, the 90 grain weight keeps recoil brisk but controllable, which supports faster, more accurate follow-up shots.

About This Underwood Xtreme Defender Ammunition 357 Sig 90 Grain Lehigh Xtreme Defense Lead-Free Box of 20 Load

Underwood runs each cartridge through small production batches and checks case dimensions and crimp consistency along the way. Notably, Lehigh designed the Xtreme Defense bullet specifically to solve the clothing-plugging problem that can rob hollow points of expansion. Therefore, it remains a strong option for concealed carry in cooler climates where heavier clothing shows up often.
