Hornady Match Ammunition 308 Winchester 168 Grain ELD Match Box of 20

Hornady Match Ammunition 308 Winchester 168 Grain ELD Match Box of 20 uses Hornady’s ELD Match bullet, a low-drag design built with a Heat Shield polymer tip for consistent long-range accuracy. The 168 grain bullet holds its ballistic coefficient at distance because the tip resists the melting that can distort other polymer tips.

A Low-Drag Match Bullet for Consistent Long-Range Groups

Meanwhile, the secant ogive profile and boat-tail base keep this bullet stable well past typical range distances. Competitive shooters rely on this consistency to hold tight groups at extended yardage. As a result, this loading has become a standard choice for precision rifle competition.

About This Hornady Match Ammunition 308 Winchester 168 Grain ELD Match Box of 20 Load

Hornady builds the ELD Match line specifically for target and competition use, not for hunting. For reference, this loading suits paper and steel targets at extended range. Therefore, many precision shooters keep this loading on hand for match day.

Hornady manufactures this ammunition with consistent case necks for uniform bullet tension. This loading remains a common sight at long-range matches this season. It is available at most well-stocked sporting goods retailers nationwide.
